Fun Fact
The legacy of Medusa Seed Bank took root in New Mexico. Two of the founders hail from that great state and during the summer of 1993, they and several other friends would make the mile or so trek into the forest behind Mo’s house with a Super Blaster 2000 backpack water gun full of nutrient rich water to nurture the very first plant Mo ever cultivated. That first plant was the first step in a decades long journey to perfect the craft of cannabis cultivation.
New Mexico Cannabis sales value expected to top $108 million by 2025
Compared to say…California, the projected sales value of cannabis sold in New Mexico by 2025 is a paltry $108.4 million. According to the latest census, New Mexico has just over 2 million citizens. Considering there are over 2 million people within a ten mile radius of downtown Los Angeles, we feel our fellow New Mexicans are holding their own.
Featured Strains for New Mexicans
New Mexico geography is incredibly diverse—from desert to mountain valleys. This biodiversity gives home cannabis growers a little flexibility when it comes to their choice of cannabis seed to start a new grow with.
That being said, we’re going to recommend one autoflower, Lemon Gas, and one photoperiod strain, Vanilla Gorilla. Honestly, we chose those two for no other reason than we like the names we came up with and the plants grown from their respective seeds produce some super stoney dankness.
Remember New Mexicans:
Dank Seed = Dank Weed!
