A survey conducted between 2014 and 2016 in Colorado found that adolescent abuse of marijuana had fallen to its lowest level since legalization in 2014. The same year, Colorado invested $2 million generated from marijuana sales tax revenues on an anti-marijuana education campaign focused on minors. The campaign detailed the overall impact marijuana use has on the adolescent brain and the potentially harmful side effects of consuming the product regularly.
